The Real Meaning of Religious Service Hajj

The final pillar and one of the finest institutions of Islam is the
Hajj or pilgrimage to Mecca. The performance of the Hajj is
obligatory, at least once in a lifetime, upon every Moslem, male or
female, who is mentally, financially and physically fit. Financial fit
means that he should have enough to cover his own expenses and those
of his dependents, and to pay his debt, if he is in debt, until he
completes the course of hajj.

There are many purposes of the course of Hajj. First, it is the
largest annual convention of faith where Moslems meet to know one
another. Second, it is the wholesome demonstration of the universality
of Islam and the brotherhood and the equality of the Moslem. Third, it
is to confirm someone's commitment to God and their readiness to leave
worldliness. Fourth, it is to introduce Moslems with historical and
spiritual environment concerning Muhammad so that they not only get
the knowledge more but also strengthen their faith. Fifth, it is to
commemorate the divine rituals observed by Abraham and Isma'eel, who
are known to have been the first pilgrims to the Ka'bah at Mecca. The
last is to reminder of the grand assembly on the day judgment when
people will stand equal before God.

But actually pilgrimage to Mecca seemingly don't always boost up
someone's quality. we can find the people which have in a good
position as Hajj but his attitude is very poor . so we can know that
haji is not simply ' rank' or title which can be like honour title or
the master title that can be sold.
